Seasons

I first heard this song when we were living in Singapore. It got my attention because of the fact that there are no seasons in Singapore. I missed that. But the words resonate even here in the north. In the land of extreme seasons. The theme is: God is always present. Always working.

The last verse speaks to me today:

And everything that’s new has bravely surfaced
Teaching us to breathe
What was frozen through is newly purposed
