I Read The End Of The Book. I Know Who Wins.

Sometimes I can get discouraged with the state of this world. There are times when listening to the news or reading the paper where it seems as though The Evil One is getting a foothold here.

Then God Almighty brings to mind some amazing scriptures:

What has been will be again, what has been done will be done again; there is nothing new under the sun. Ecclesiastes 1:9

Even though it may seem that there is so much new evil in the world that verse in Ecclesiastes says there is nothing new under the sun.

Nothing surprises God. Ever.

Corrie Ten Boom said, "With God there are no problems, only plans."

If I start feeling overwhelmed with this world I remind myself that I have read the end of The Book. I know Who Wins.
When I looked and heard the voice of many angels, numbering thousands upon thousands, and ten thousand times ten thousand. They encircled the throne and the living creatures and the elders. In a loud voice they sang: "Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and praise!"
Revelation 5:11-12

Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, "Now the dwelling of God is with men, and he will live with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away." Revelation 21:1-4

"Behold, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to everyone according to what he has done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End. Revelation 22:12-13

A couple of months ago we saw Chris Tomlin in concert. I was really touched by the following song, "I Will Rise.
" I pray you sense the Hope that we who are in Christ have.
