I am fortunate to have my grandmother's cast iron skillet with a cast iron lid. It's really heavy but I love it. I can now cook with it since I don't have an electric flat surface stove anymore. Just the old fashioned coil type which works great with the old fashioned iron skillet. Enjoy yours, Judy!
